Ms. Bernita Jenkins was born and raised in the beautiful city of Ft. Pierce, Fla. She's the proud parent of 2 beautiful children; she retired from the Medicine Shop as a certified pharmacy technician after 30 years. She is currently the owner and operator of Luvjoy Gospel Radio Live 365 Gospel She's been in the funeral industry for over twenty-five years, under the leadership of the late Commissioner Rufus Butch Alexander at Sarah's Memorial Chapel, before deciding to venture out and start LoveJoy Funeral & Cremation Services formerly known as Life Celebrations Mortuary Inc, where her mission is to "Create Love and Joy  Memories to Last a Lifetime" .

Bishop Gerald Banks Sr,

Bishop Gerald Banks Sr. was born in Norfolk, Virginia and raised in Pahokee, Florida, where he graduated from Pahokee High School, Class of 1977. He later attended Polk Community College and has been married to his wife, Cheryl Banks, for 43 years.

He began pastoring in 1995 and currently serves as pastor of Bible Church of God–West Palm Beach, worshipping at Riviera Beach Preparatory Academy. Bishop Banks is devoted to preaching the truth and has a strong passion for helping people and supporting other churches. His favorite scripture is Romans 8:28.

Zella currently serves as a Senior Associate at Lovejoy Funeral & Cremation Services , 2020-present. 

She is the fifth oldest sibling of ten children born to Mr. & Mrs. Collis and Elizabeth McDuffie of Miami, Florida. 

Zella is a graduate of Florida A&M University with a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. She is also a Licensed Cosmetologist and a Wedding Coordinator.

Zella is a member and Deaconess of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, Florida under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Jonathan Ingram. 

Zella is employed at Indian River State College for 30 years, 1980-present. She is an Associate Professor in the Miley Library and Academic Support Center. She has served as an Instructor, Master Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor of Health, Physical Education and Recreation, and coached Women’s Volleyball and Basketball. She was an Instructor at Bethune-Cookman College 1979-1980 in Health, Physical Education Recreation and Dance. She coordinated and sponsored the first dance group named “The Fast Breakers” that performed during half-time games for the Bethune-Cookman College Wildcats Men’s Basketball Team. 

Zella is the Founder and Coordinator of the “Touch of Class Modeling Troupe”, 1981-present. She is married to Deacon Carl Smith Sr., and blessed with two children, Shamiyah and Carl “CJ” Smith, Jr.

Born In Haiti come to the USA as a teenager Graduated from Coral Springs High School. Earned a associate in nursing from Broward College North Campus College in Coconut Creek Florida. 

Then pursued and earned a bachelor’s in nursing at University of Phoenix 

Earned a Bachelor and a master's in theology from Freedom Bible College and seminar
