Vernita Joyce Anderson- Banks
A Time To Be Born:
On December 6, 1958, a baby girl, was born in Belle Glade Florida to the late Elder Frank Anderson Jr., and Willie Frances Anderson. This baby girl would later be named Vernita J. Anderson, known dearly as Neat.
A Time To Live:
Vernita Anderson Banks attended and graduated from Glades Central Community High School in 1976. After high school, Vernita attended Palm Beach Community College, in which she excelled. Shortly after college, Vernita was employed with Everglades Memorial Hospital in Pahokee, Florida for numerous years as the friendly, fun-loving PBX Operator. Throughout her career, she was employed with the Department of Children and Families and later Sago Palm Academy. Thereafter, Vernita proudly became a caregiver for her late mother.
A Time To Love:
Vernita Anderson met the love of her life, Velton Banks, and the two united in marriage on 7/19/1986.
A Time To Leave:
On July 28, 2022, Vernita Anderson Banks rested her eyes the final time. She was proceeded in death by her parents Frank and Frances Anderson, siblings Stanley Anderson and Diane Anderson Smith.
A Time To Mourn:
Vernita Banks is survived by her devoted Husband Velton Banks; Two Children Tarik Anderson Sr., and Cedric Anderson Sr. (Mary). Five grandchildren, Cedric Anderson Jr., Cedarious Anderson, Ce’Nya Anderson, Tarik Anderson Jr, and Tariq Anderson. Four siblings, Jacqueline Smith (Henry), Michael Anderson (Lisa), Charles Anderson (Diane) and Michelle Wade (Bruce). In-laws; Mother–in-Law- Mary Banks, Five Brother-in-Laws, Daniel Cannon (Deceased), David Banks, Gerald Banks, Leonard Banks, Darryl Summersett. Four Sister-in-Laws, Mary Banks, Cheryl Banks, Traci Banks and La Trell Banks-Summersett
Vernita leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
