Ollie Mae Jackson, daughter of the late Edward Jackson and Janie McCray-Jackson was born in Quincy, Florida on March 24, 1947. Ollie matriculated through public schools of Gadsden County ultimately attending Carter-Parramore High School. She later moved to Fort Pierce, Florida in the late 60s Ollie was employed for 30 ears at Coca-Cola company in the citrus department. She was married to Howard H. Peterson Sr.
On, Saturday, July 29, 2023, an angel was assigned to escort Ollie Mae Jackson from labor to reward. She was preceded in death by her parents: Edward Jackson and Janie McCray-Jackson; son: Antonio Peters; brothers: Edward Jackson, Jr. and Johnny Jackson; sisters: LaTonya Jackson and Tricia Linette Jackson; nephew: Jermaine Brown.
Left to cherish her precious memories are her sons: Colando Peters, Keith Peters, Howard Peterson Jr., Darrick Peters and Ronald (Linda) Matthew; grandchildren: Derykah Banner, Kali Banner, Derlyn Banner, Aaliyah Peterson, Ronderrious Matthew and Shenika Matthew Peacock; brother: Grady (Eva) Jackson; sisters: Nellarine Harden, Lucinda Jackson, Gloria (Charles) Fuller, Patricia (Lee) Walker and Cherise Jackson; and a host of nephews and nieces family and friends that will truly miss her.
