Minnie "Mother" L. Snipes, age 88, was born April 11, 1937, in Charing, GA to the late Joseph Lee Stewart and Ossie Mae Stewart.
Minnie was affectionately known as "Mother" by many, as her loving and caring spirit extended far beyond her own family. her life was a beautiful testimony of faith, perseverance, and love. she was devoted woman of faith who loved God whole heartedly and lived her life as a reflection of His love through service to other.
On December 31, 2025, Mother transitioned from labor to reward and entered into external rest with the Lord. Minnie was preceded in death by her son, Gary Snipes; grandson Deonte Snipes; great grandsons: Catavin Napier and Travonte Warren; her parents; a sister: Josephine Stewart-Morrison;
Leroy Stewart, and Wallace Stewart; Wilcher. Minnie was a loving and devoted mother whose life was defined by strength, compassion, and generosity
She was a sweet,gentle voice and a warm smile that could light up any room She lovingly cared for anyone in need, and her heart and he home were always open.
A hardworking single parent, Minnie raised her children with unwavering love, sacrifice and determination. She was dedicate-having been employed by Vero Beach
Laboratory for 35 years. Though she had limited formal education, Minnie obtained her position through perseverance and skill. She excelled in agricultural testing and in the development of chemical processes used to protect agricultural pro-duction, consistently exceeding expectations and earning the respect of her colleagues.
Minnie leaves to cherish her precious memories: her son, Larry (Selena) Snipes of Macon, GA; and four daughters:
Dorothy Snipes-Slaughter of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Sarah (Jessie)Snipes-Baker of Vero Beach, FL
Barbara (Cooper) Snipes-Anderson of Vero Beach, FL, and Tamaron (Antonio Böles) Rolle-Boles of Atlanta, GA.
She is also survived by 15 grandchildren: Katia, Tiffany, Larry Travonte;(Robert) Graves of CA; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends, who loved her deeply.
Cherished family and dear friends: The Snipes Family of Atlanta, GA, the Smith Family the Wilcher Family (Easter &
TJ), the Morrison Family, the Hill Family, and "Sisters by Heart. Minnie's legacy will continue to live on though her family and all whose lives she touched. She will deeply be missed.
