It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathleen Ann Sandoval (Young), 69, of Columbus, Ohio, on October 25th, 2025. Born on October 22nd, 1956, Kathy was known best for her lust for life and contagious laugh. Mother to Brittany Peitsmeyer and devoted grandmother to Hunter, she was a creative who took pride in her paintings, fashion, and home decorations. As a hairdresser for 30+ years, she loved making those around her feel beautiful on the inside and out.
Kathy spent the last years of her life soaking up the sunshine in South Florida. Kathy’s life can best be encapsulated by four "F" words: Family, Friends, Food and Fun; In her almost 70 years here with us, she experienced an abundance of each.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hunter Altmarino’s college fund. Contributions can be made online at https://everloved.com/life-of/kathy-sandoval/
