Jacqueline Patterson-Rolle

Jacqueline Patterson-Rolle was born November 11, 1957, in Americus, Georgia to the late George Andrew Patterson Sr. and Celia Rea Patterson.

Jacqueline attended and graduated from Ft. Pierce Central High School in 1975. She received her associates and bachelor’s degrees from Indian River College (Ft. Pierce, FL). She was married to Vernon Rolle.

Jacqueline was a gifted and multi-talented woman. She served as a substitute teacher for the St. Lucie County school system. She worked for the health department as an accountant. Jacqueline further worked as an assistant bank manager for SunTrust Bank (Ft. Pierce, FL). In addition, she was a building inspector for New Horizons of the Treasure Coast (Ft. Pierce, FL).

Jacqueline Patterson-Rolle found rest on March 15, 2022. She was preceded in death by her father, George   Andrew Patterson Sr., brothers: George Patterson Jr., Leonard Patterson; sisters: Linda Yvonne McWhorter, Willie Mae Bailey, Myrtles Parker and Evelyn Patterson, brother-in-law, Bill McWhorter, sister-in-law, Carol Patterson; nephew, Trovon Patterson; aunts: Bernice Snelling, Mae Foster, Betty Haynes; uncle, Bennie Collier; uncle-in-law, Reverend Snelling; nieces: Dawn Wallace Jones and Yolanda Pinkston.

She leaves to mourn her life: one son, JaQuan Lorenzo Rolle; mother, Celia Rea Patterson; brothers: Edward (“Billy”) Patterson Wallace (Alice), Elder Larry Patterson (Mia), Leon Patterson and Charlie Patterson (Mary); sisters: Jannie Weeks, Barbara Whitted, Delois Thomas and Patty Jean Young; sisters-in-law: Alice Wallace, Mia Daniels   Patterson and Mary Pratt Patterson; aunt, Bernice Collier; nieces and nephews: Nathaniel Lee Patterson, Shawny Patterson, Larry Patterson Jr. (Ataaba), Labara Patterson, Alicia Wallace Ross, John Wallace, Regina Wallace Jones, Towan White, Tyia White, Anthony Napper, Danielle (“Nikki”) Collier Deloatch, Shelly Weeks Townsend, Sharon Hinton, Troy Thomas, LaTasha Hess, Rodney Whitted, Derik Patterson, Sheretta Robinson, Bonita Patterson Samuel, Marvin Bailey, Deborah Bailey, Maury Parker, Cheryl Parker, Brian Parker, and other nieces and nephews who reside in Philadelphia, PA and Maryland; special friends: Pearl Ingram, Gloria McKenzie, Minister Alfreda Soulter; and a host of other loving friends and family who will miss her dearly.
