Dexter Clayton Brunson was born on May 30, 1974 to the late Mary Ann Brunson and Ezekiel Grant in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Dexter was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida, where he spent his childhood hunting, interacting with friends and honing his craft as a masterbuilder.
He had a wealth of knowledge and education and was successful in earning his GED. His hobbies included: landscaping, building, cooking and most importantly spending quality time with his family.
With hard work, effort and vision he pursued and accomplished his dream of owning his own detailing business known as D&A. For many, many years he serviced St. Lucie, Martin and Indian River County.
Dexter C. “Dek” Brunson, 46, died on November 4, 2020, after a brief illness and a period of declining health. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Ann Brunson;
father Ezekiel Grant; maternal grandparents Mary & Ben Brunson; Aunt: Annie Mae Edwards
He is survived by his wife Anna Tirado Brunson; children, Dexter Clayton Brunson Jr, Justice Malik Brunson, Breanna Alexus Hutchinson, Shaun Dias and grandchild Jaylen Antonio. He is also survived by his brothers Delbert L. Brunson and Jeffrey L. Boyce; and his sisters Shameka Y. (Derrick) Brooks, Paulette Q. (Collins) Udeze and Patrice K. Boyce.
