Mr. C D Grant was born on July 31, 1935 in the city of Sylvania, Georgia to the late Nathaniel Smith and Elise Smith.

He was a resident of Fort Pierce, Florida coming for Georgia.

he was proceeded in death by his Parents: Nathaniel Smith and Elise Smith Brothers: Roy Smith, Charles Smith, Tony Smith, Harold Smith and Thomas Smith.

Sisters: Ruby Ponder Burgess, Catherine Sneed, Bernice Manning, Martha Ann Smith, Alice Smith and Mary Lee Hooks.
