Barbara Robinson-Muldrow Obituary

Barbara Ann Robinson Muldrow was born December 28, 1947, to the late Henry James and Irene Fox Robinson in Fort Pierce, Florida.

As the only daughter of five children, she developed her charismatic, free-hearted, assertive personality.

Being born into a prosperous family granted her the opportunity to attend Boylan-Haven-Mather Academy, a private African American school in Camden, South Carolina, she relocated back to Fort Pierce, Florida, where she graduated from Lincoln Park Academy, class of 1965.

She didn't waste any time starting her life and became a wife to Leon and a mother to Lovell (born in 1967).

Barbara Ann started working in the family business, Robinson's Grocery Store (cashiering and management), Robinson's cab stand (dispatcher), and payroll for her father. Branching out from the family business, she met Robert Lee while working at JM Fields, that was the love of her life. Robert and Barbara later united in Holy Matrimony on September 3, 1977. Two years later, a beautiful baby girl was born, Shilisha NaTasha.

Barbara Ann became a school bus driver for St. Lucie County where she drove for 18 years. Excelling in her career, Barbara was then promoted to become the first African-American Area Manager for St.Lucie County, where she remained in her position until her retirement.

The highlight of Barbara's life was truly her grandchildren and later to become her great-grandchildren.

Barbara loved cooking and baking, as well as catering to Robert's every need. On March 18, 2017, Barbara's husband gained his wings. From then, Barbara's life was never the same. She eventually gained her wings on her birthday, December 28, 2023.

Her legacy will continue and will forever be treasured by: her SON, Lovell and DAUGHTER, Shilisha (Charles); BONUS DAUGHTERS: Laurine Woods, Rosa Williams, and Brenda McCord; GRAND CHILD-REN: Floyd, Diamond, Re'Mah, Marquis, Lovell Jr. and Javelle; 13 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN.

BROTHER-IN-LAW: L G Bonham of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; SISTERS-IN-LAWS: Marie H. Robinson of Riviera Beach, Florida; Maude Bonham of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Louise C. Robinson, Louise O. Robinson, Geneva B. Robinson, and Grace A.
