Barbara Lee Reid was born November 4, 1953 in Stuart, Fl to the late Charles Reid and Maxine Williams.
Barbara was graduate of Martin County High School in Stuart, Fla.
She was a faithful member of the historical Johnson's Temple Church of God in Christ in Ft. Pierce, Fl. She served on the Usher Board for more than 20 years. Not only did she serve on the Usher Board, she also served on the Sick and Serve-in Committee, where she would visit the sick and and shut in every week. Barbara worked for more than 17 years at Fort Drum. She later retired to help her sister with their mom. She was truly a devoted daughter. She would cook, clean whatever she found her hands to do. She did that with her beautiful smile. Sis. Reid loved her family! She was a member of "The Golden Girls" where she would pray and encouraged others. She loved God and served Him to the best of her ability. She only wanted to hear the Lord say, "Welcome Home thy Good and Faithful Servant-Enter Into the Joy of the Lord".
Sis. Barbara passed away quietly on July 13,2020 with her family close by her side. She was preceded in death by a daughter: father: Charles Reid, Felicia Preston, a sister: Marcia Washington, and a grandson; Kartraviuos Jones.
Sis. Barbara leaves to mourn her children: Livinia Jones, Alores Jones, Kathleen Jones Johnson, Jasper Jones; mother: Maxine Williams, sister: Mosezella Williams; brother: Mack Young; grandchildren: Kendasha Jones, Adam Jones, Michael Jones, Azelle Horne, Ezekiel Simmons, Latrelle Jones, Jimmie Johnson, and Jakeria Johnson and long with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
