Airrene Tolbert affectionately known as " Papa T" the son of the late I. A. Phillips and Lillie Morrison was born December 24, 1939, in Swansboro, Georgia.
He received his formal education from the historical Lincoln Park Academy in Fort Pierce, Florida.
He was a truck driver for 20 years for Forbes trucking company. He loved his family and friends. He had a special touch when it came to auto, mechanic and building motors for race cars, a 40-year passion of driving race cars that he built.
On Thursday, June 27, 2024, Mr. Airrene Tolbert transitioned to be with the Lord. He was preceded in death by his Parents: I. A. Phillips and Lillie Morrison; Son, Emmitte Tolbert; Brothers: Clarence Tolbert, Willie James Tolbert, Charles B. Connors, George Allen and Carl Phillips.
Those left to cherish his precious memories are his loving Wife: Annie Tolbert; Daughters: Monya Tolbert (Trever)Noble, Alia Tolbert (John) Williams, Lydia (Victor) Sands, Christine Wilson, Jennifer Ingram, Brenda Harriel, Cassandra Tolbert; Sons: Claude (Rose) Tolbert, James Tolbert, Pernell Tolbert and Stephen Tolbert; Sibling: Wylodine Gibbons; a host of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews; Brother-in-law: Robert (Jennette) Weathers, Sister-in-law: Mary Holmes; Special Friends: Charles Ghent, Eugene "Gino" Wyche, Marcellus Walker, and Kathy Dent.
