Achoune Michel was born on APRIL 12, 1944, in Haiti to her loving parents, Deliverance Fer-gil and Leneus Michel. From an early age, she was known for her gentle heart, her unwavering faith, and her deep devotion to family and community.
Achoune received her education up to middle school, where she developed a love of learning and a spirit of perseverance that guided her throughout her life. Though she did not serve in the military, her courage and dedication were evidence in every aspect of her life especially in the care and love she poured into her home and family.
A devoted wife to her late HUSBAND, Charles Sainvil, Achoune embraced her role as a homemaker with grace and purpose. Together, they raised eight wonderful CHILDREN, to whom she devoted her entire heart and strength. Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, and nourish-ment—a sanctuary filled with love and faith. No matter the circumstances, she made sure her family never went without a meal, often creating something from very little through her resourcefulness and determination.
Life was not always easy, but Achoune's faith in God and her unwavering love for her children gave her strength to overcome every hardship. She worked tirelessly to ensure her children could attend school, doing everything in her power so they could have a better future. Even with limited means, she encouraged them to believe in themselves and to keep striving. Her sacrifices laid the foundation for their success and independence—a true reflection of her love and perseverance.
Faith was the cornerstone of Achoune's life. She trusted in God through every joy and trial, often reminding her family that with faith, all things are possible. Her pravers filled her home with deace and protection, and her devotion to God inspired evervone around her. She lived her life as a humble servant of the Lord-kind, giving and steadfast in her belief that love and grace could overcome all.
Achoune Michel departed this life on OCTOBER 30, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and strength. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit continues to live on in the hearts of her eight children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her.
She now rests peacefully, reunited with her beloved HUSBAND, Charles, and embraced by her Creator and ancestors. Her memory will forever be cherished—a shining example of a mother's love, a woman's resilience, and a faithful servant of God.
